Of course it is a fun place with beautiful landscapes
Didn't know they were sold. Best bet is to call ahead..
Yes there is parking. Y I y pay $20 to park. You can stay there the entire day and you get a ticket to bring into Claudios, present ticket to Claudios and they will give you $20 cash back. So as long as you wat at Claudios parking is free.
Claudio's is currently under renovation. The back dock and bar are gone, and being re-built. I would call before going
make a reservation on the ferry...easy route to the north shore
The whole area seems to be very dog friendly.
Yes.
Not at all ....
What a beautiful day on the South fork. I only give 5 stars to restaurants based on the total experience. Our experience at Claudio's was enhanced by our delightful waitress Brianna. She was instrumental in every aspect of our lunch. From wine(a local rose) to oysters(Montauk) to mahi ruben and chkn ceasar salad. The mahi ruben was a little messy for my taste, so I ate half and picked the mahi out of the other half, which is fine cause it left more room for french fries without over stuffing myself. The salad was refreshing. Afterwards we stopped but the retired Firefighter boat, and bought a tshirt to support . You should too!
Great atmosphere and drinks! I would definitely return. I enjoyed the music and watching all the sweet boats/yachts pull up.
Outstanding restaurant! We went for lunch and every aspect of our meal was impeccable. The restaurant itself appears newly renovated with gorgeous upscale decor. The service was outstanding from start to the finish. The food was the equal of any upscale Manhattan restaurant. The seafood, especially the Montauk calamari, local diver scallops and local fluke are the freshest and expertly prepared and presented. Very highly recommended!
Overpriced, not even a Potato came with, Steak as, you had to Order Side's separate. Service was slow, they were out of a number of food items (I was told by, Waitress "on my way out of the Restroom" that, they were out of the Appetizer I Ordered) & what made no sense is that, it wasn't even late in the evening as, our Reservation was at 4:00pm on that Saturday. Also, we waited almost an Hour for our Food that, came out lukewarm to some actually Cold. Not impressed at all.
Great place for good sea food. The service is the best and very friendly people. Great for groups
Claudio's changed hands a year ago from the family that had owned it for a long time. So I was interested in how it might have changed. I was pleasantly surprised! They kept all that was great, and improved on it. The lobster roll was bigger and better than before. Prices still pretty good. And of course eating outside on the deck looking over the water gives it one of the great restaurant views on Long Island! A must in the summer.
Old Claudio's ..FInally renovated..old historic bar still in place. Its a must stop in Greenport for minimal a cocktail. New owners ..BETTER food somewhat pricey. Upstairs dining is suggested..also separate cool upstairs bar and lounge area for late night or after dinner hang.Parking in season can be problem..but they have there own lot.
The oldest single-family owned restaurant in America, open since 1870, this is very charming & a must-visit if you're on the North Fork. The New England clam chowder is the best I've eaten in a long time, the duck wings were excellent. Worth visiting!
If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The people who own and work here are the greatest. My parents went out there for lunch on Saturday and when they came out their car would not start. The staff went above and beyond to help them the head of security charged my moms phone they helped her get the car towed to a local place, they sat them inside their t-shirt shop as they waited for me to come get them so they could stay warm kept offering them coffee and anything they wanted I can not thank the staff of Claudio's enough and my parents raved about the food said it was so worth all the trouble can not wait to go out and have dinner there. Thank you so much to all who helped them
Service is great ! With friends Select &Andy Betty & Stephen at Claudios rest.
The food and service are both excellent. The new owners have really stepped up.
It is an amazing venue right on the water. It's a perfect place to spend a summer afternoon with friends and/or family. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Catch the amazing band Coverland if you can! Dance and chill the day away!
Great Job with the outside dining during the pandemic. thanks! love the lobster roll and Cesar salad! can't wait to come back
Excellent Seafood, Waitress was extremely nice. Beautiful view.
We went there for out 30th anniversary and it was fantastic. We both got steaks and was called to perfection. We didn't know that was the last weekend for the season, lucky we got in when we did.Staff was great, good was great.Drinks a little small but over all a great time. There is a lot of history just ask the staff.
Restaurant on West side of town, at the docks. Clam bar, seperate building on the docks. Great food and service. I have been going there, when I visit the area, for 20 years now. Highly recommend. It also has a great bar.
Great sea food restaurant by the water with a view. Good food especially Ahi Tuna with mild sauce and 🦀 crabcake appetizer. Clam chowder was delicious too.
Great food and super yachts what a combination! Superb Yasou!
Recently visited Claudio's with my wife. Very nice restaurant with nice atmosphere sitting in the outside dining area. The reason why i only gave 3 stars is that they charged us $10. for parking even though we were eating in their restaurant. If they would give you credit towards your meal i would definitely have given 5 stars. Something for the management to think about.
Came to Claudio’s to have a drink, was really breezy! Manager told us just bc we’re requesting to shut the shutter doesn’t mean everyone else wants it that way! Not exactly the language to use when in hospitality or restaurant business!
Great live music and food by the very end of Long island! Lovely to walk around the village and next to water. Service was excellent!
Great place. One of my favorite Summer destinations..
Bad Service, Cold Food, musicians sounded really bad, waited a hour for our food and it was cold. Never going here again
Food is delicious. Service/staff are top notch! Very friendly & warm. I ordered the Goat cheese salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette (in pic below) & it was huge & delicious! Hubby had fish & chips & the tartar sauce was amazing. Beautiful original decor. Must visit if you're in Greenport. They have a bar in the front too. Gets packed. Outside pic is the view we had from our seats by a window.
Nice classic ambience. Clean and good service. Casual tasteful food, such as soups, salads, grilled chicken sandwiches, fish and fries. Prices are what to be expected from a harbor tourist water front restaurant.
The sea, the surf, boats, bikes, tourists and landlubbers all congregate on this fine little piece of real estate. Step off your boat on the inlet side, or park on the street nearby (if you can) and be greeted by a party scene with live music. Before Labor Day a seat at the bar is precious. Come early for the lobster rolls, mimosas, crab, and people watching. When you are sated, catch a ride on the ferry, with or without your land vehicle, to Shelter Island. Be sure to come back for dinner if you can.Nice place for a North Fork anchorage. Claudio's is easily accessible by rail. It is a reasonable walk from the station and the ferry dock which are "a stone's throw" from each other. Plenty of shopping is to be had within walking distance as well. Don't take your yacht down Main Street. It would be impossible to parallel park and drop anchor.
I normally would of given this restaurant a 5 star but we been going to Claudios for the past 6 years every year at least 4 times. The place is renovated and it’s beautiful that’s not the complaint. The new people that bought claudios are going down in quality in their food. I rather have a little rustic restaurant and have great food like the family that owned it for years. I ordered the lobster roll and it was a size of a hotdog bun and some chips for 28 dollars. I don’t mind paying money for something that is great but wow. Also the clam chowder they are definitely not winning any contest for best clam chowder. It’s just not the same at all. It’s a shame but they should have left claudios just the way it is.
The hub of all that is Greenport. The center of the marina and the quintessential location to start your Greenport experience. The drinks are great and the bartenders are friendly. If you are going for a lovely dinner you will not be disappointed because the food is delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos. The drinks are lovely as well. If you are going to go to Greenport kick it off with Claudio’s. Not to mention they have parking available most of the time. It’s still not too late to hit them before the summer is over. ;)
A perfect fish restaurant on the dock. Clean restrooms. Get there by boat.
Great food and excellent service. Lobster roll and mussels were delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. I'll be back!
Had a fantastic experience in here with my son. The food was served quickly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are convenient.
A+++ service, really great food and amazing specialty drinks all waterside. I mean whats there not to love!!
Excellent kitchen and wonderful staff
Eat outside and order the Mahi Mahi Reuben. You might wait, but it's worth it.
Amazing food and drinks the service was quick even though it was very busy. Love this place. It's a great way to end the day after visiting the vineyards and the drive is so nice and picturesque
Would absolutely recommend trying out this place. Fantastic atmosphere, delicious dishes, awesome customer service. Keep up the good work.
A nice enjoyable evening with some good seafood. The claim chowder and lobster bisque were on point! Yes, get some while you are there. The oysters had a great balsamic vinaigrette dipping sauce which actually made them some of the best oysters I have had. You should definitely stop by here while I’m Greenport.
Fantastic! Went there several times and every dish we tried was beyond expectations. Very fresh farm or sea to table, expertly prepared. Great wine list. Will definitely be returning for more pleasant surprise.
Food was great. One of the best soft pretzels I've ever had! Kielbasa was fantastic, perfectly grilled.
Delicious, fun, beautiful location - great staff.
My husband and I attempted to go to Claudio’s for dinner this past weekend (9/28) after apple picking with our two children. When we walked in around 5:30, the restaurant was EMPTY. The hostess took one look at our children and said we wouldn’t be able to be seated because the restaurant was full with reservations. We physically saw her check for a table for four on the computer that said it was available and another that said there was a 24 minute turn around. She told us we would have to wait an hour and a half to be seated. It was CLEAR that she profiled us because we had two children with us, probably assuming we’d order water and chicken nuggets. She was beyond rude. It was so inappropriate considering you should never profile your clients, but also, because the restaurant was visibly empty. I guess you shouldn’t take your children to dinner! At least here! Or, maybe, next time we should take out a couple of hundred dollar bills so she can be sure we can pay our bill. DISGUSTING!
This place is a great place to go to for dinner. The food was very good. I’m giving this place a place a four star review because we had to wait an hour and a half for a table. Although the food was very good.
Total disappointment. Went for a milestone birthday and it was not what we had expected. Server was inattentive and ompletely served us wrong meals. Felt like they wanted us all - the few tables that were seated near us- so they could just clean and go home. Food was mediocre. Won't be going back
Fresh off the boat seafood always a good time here I Claudio's
Straight out of 1978...good service though.
This place is worth visiting. They serve big portions for fair prices. Regularly neat and with excellent ambience. I highly recommend this place.
Beautiful location, terrific atmosphere, great drinks and delicious food. Try the Mango margarita. It is delicious and made well. The lobster roll is fabulous and I recommend it. The sweet potato fries are delicious. The clam strips and fried shrimp are the best.
Fantastic food.. great atmosphere.. right on the water
A must visit for every Long Islander. Excellent food at a fairly decent price. We needed to get in and out quickly (45 min) and our waiter made it possible with time to spare.
